2023 NTPC International Smart City Forum 2023 NTPC International Smart City Forum

::The significance of a smart city extends beyond mere convenience; it represents the onset of sustainable coexistence between humans and nature. New Taipei City prioritizes "people", focusing on every minor detail of daily life. It uses "intelligence" as its foundation, aiming to build a sustainable city that ensures safe and pleasant living and working conditions. Thanks to various human-centered smart city policies, it has achieved comprehensive ICF certification, making it the first city worldwide to gain complete smart city certification.

::Given the global trend of excessive urban population concentration, the question of environmental carrying capacity naturally arises. Artificial Intelligence (AI), following decades of evolution, has encountered a fresh opportunity in the third wave of innovation. This international forum, themed "City Operations Through AI, Co-Create Global Sustainability," invites representatives from international cities and industries experts to discuss how they are utilizing AI for sustainable governance of smart cities, and how this implementation affects citizens' daily lives. Collectively, they aim to offer more valuable experiences for global urban development.
